Le labyrinthe in Carcassonne has opened to the public.
It has been a long hard winter for Jean Claude and myself in getting everything ready for opening the vineyard to the public. We have converted a labyrinthe (maze) in a small vineyard at the back of the domaine which is of the merlot grape type. This was no easy feat as I kept getting lost when I was marking it out. Which gave me some hope that it would work . We have also opened a small wine museum and wine tasting room in the Cave, converted a stable into a wine bar and installed a small petting zoo for children. It has a been a busy 6 months but we hope it is worth it at Le Labyrinthe, Arzens, Nr Carcassonne, France.
We hope that tourist and local people alike will visit our domaine and enjoy an afternoon or morning learning about the process from the vine to the wine, get lost in our amazing maze, feed the animals at the zoo or just relax in the wine bar.
Let us know what you think of the newest attraction in Carcassonne.
